Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Beattier. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Beattier. You sign in with your Apple ID and are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data from our servers.

Your content

You own the ratings, reviews, posts, comments, and other content you create. By posting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content within the service. That's what lets other users see your reviews. The licence ends for content you delete, except where it has been reshared within the service or where we must retain it for legal reasons. Profiles, ratings, reviews, posts, and libraries are visible to other users.

Rules

Don't use Beattier to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, pornographic, or that infringes someone else's rights. Don't spam, impersonate others, scrape the service, or try to break or bypass its security. We provide reporting and blocking tools; we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

Music data

Album, track, and artist metadata and artwork are provided by Apple's iTunes Search API and Spotify, and remain the property of their respective owners. Beattier is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Apple or Spotify or any music rightsholder.

The service

Beattier is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of the service; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use Beattier (currently nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the effective date, and announce the change in the app. Continuing to use Beattier after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
